Pricing and availability

Free during alpha.

The Databao desktop app is currently free during alpha. There is no public price for future paid team features.

What is included now

Alpha access is for exploring the local-first desktop workflow: working with business-data files, producing explainable analysis, and checking figures against their source rows and methods. Availability can change as the alpha develops, so request an update before planning a production rollout or promising a particular download date.

Model-provider costs

Databao lets users bring their own compatible hosted model provider, or use a model running on their own machine. Any commercial arrangement for a hosted provider is between the user and that provider. A local model can keep the analysis boundary on the user’s computer.

What is not priced

Paid team features are planned for later and are not currently available. Databao does not publish a team plan, a subscription price, a usage price, or an enterprise quote for those future features. Do not infer a future price from the free alpha offer.
