# Databao pricing and availability

The Databao desktop app is free during alpha. Paid team features are planned for
later and do not have a public price. Ask about availability before committing
to a production rollout or promising a particular download date.

Users can bring a compatible hosted model provider or run a model on their own
machine. Any commercial arrangement for a hosted provider is between the user
